About Coleman College
Coleman College was established in 1987 and has been in operation for 30 years.
Over the past 30 years, Coleman College has expanded its scope of operations to offer a wide range of education and training services to meet the needs of its
students. To date, Coleman has graduated over 30,000 students from over 20 countries world-wide.
Our mission is to create opportunities for all learners to acquire knowledge and skills meeting the needs of the international job market. In line with this mission, we strive to improve and maintain high quality levels in all areas which can contribute towards the achievement of this mission. These include our teaching methods and materials, staff, facilities, systems and processes, learning environment and our range of student services. We foster a high degree of communication and participation within the classroom and aim to produce graduates who are confident, competent and socially responsible. We aim for every student who joins the college to graduate with a global view attained through all these as well as through activities such as co-curricular courses and internship programmes and acquire the capabilities to contribute to the larger community internationally. We strive to make improvements in the confidence level, appearance and attitude, knowledge, English proficiency and skills of all our students.
We have established ourselves as a strong and credible institution known for being caring and socially responsible and for the delivery of effective, quality and affordable educational and training services to our students.
As part of our sustainability plan, we accord top priority to operational compliance followed by service quality and financial inclusion.
For the future, we plan to build on this as well as to regionalise and forge strategic alliances with reputable institutions overseas to further expand and improve our services to our students. Regionalisation and forging strategic alliances with selective quality institutions overseas will remain one of the main focuses of Coleman College for the future.
EduTrust Certification Scheme
The EduTrust Certification Scheme assesses a Private Education Institution (PEI)’s academic and financial processes, school governance and administration, quality management, and the protection and welfare of students through fee protection, management of recruitment agents and provision of student support services. This 4-year EduTrust award is given to a PEI for having achieved satisfactory to commendable performance in key areas of management and the provision of educational services.
As in July 2016, there are only 68 private education institutions (PEIs) awarded with a 4-year EduTrust Certification amongst 294 PEI’s registered with the CPE in Singapore. This achievement distinguishes Coleman College as one of the higher quality education service providers in Singapore, after meeting stringent requirements relating to the setting up of and maintenance of systems and processes for providing quality courses, student-centric services and ensuring good educational outcomes.
