Advanced Diploma in International Business Management (Chinese)
The Advanced Diploma in International Business Management course, conducted in the Chinese language, equips student with the knowledge to comprehend principles of logistics management, public relations, consumer behavior, business communication, organizational behavior and leadership providing them the ability to apply this knowledge to various roles in organizations.
At the end of the course, students are expected to:
- Understand and learn the concept of logistic management as well as the various methods and practices in logistic management
- Understand the basic functions of public relations as well as the art of engaging the press and the various public relations technique
- Understand the process of collecting and analyzing data through consumer behavior
- Understand the different types of business information available and the art of communicating business information using the various appropriate methods
- Understand the cognitive and affective elements underpinning behaviors of individuals in workplace settings, design and development of work teams and organizations and management of behavioral issues affecting organizational effectiveness.
- Understand the various styles and impacts of leadership and how to work effectively in a team
This programme consists of 6 modules:
- Logistic Management
- Public Relations
- Consumer Behavior
- Business Communication
- Organizational Behavior
The unit covers the concept of logistic management and includes global communication network, national trade practices. Learners will also learn the various methods and practices in logistic management.
The unit covers the basic functions of public relations as well as the development of public relations over the years.
Learners will learn the art of engaging the press, as well as various public relations
technique for various occasions.
The unit covers the different effects that various products have on the consumer as well as the process of collecting and analyzing data through the consumer behavior.
The unit covers the different types of business information available and the art of communicating business information using the various appropriate methods.
Learners will also understand the issues and constraints in relation to the use of business information in organizations and how to present business information effectively.
Learners will acquire insights into the cognitive and affective elements underpinning behaviours of individuals in workplace settings, design and development of work teams and organisations, and management of behavioural issues affecting organisational effectiveness. The topic aims to enable the learners to become better employees and people managers as well as develop effective organisations.
The unit covers the different styles and impact of leadership and how to work effectively in a team.

The course duration is 12 months of institutional training – Part-time; 6 months of institutional training – Full time
Maximum allowed period for the student to complete the course is 24 months for part time and 12 months for full time.
